Bongokuhle Hlongwane signs a 3year contract with Minnesota United

Maritzburg United confirmed the departure of star Bongokuhle Hlongwane to Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Minnesota United on a three-year deal with a one-year club option. Bongokuhle has committed his future to the club after signing a three-year contract to club's first U22 initiative.

Makeup artist accuses Dineo Ranaka of not paying her after using her services

  Felicia has accused the Metro FM presenter of not paying her after promoting her makeup line for two days in December.  Radio Dj and media personality Dineo Ranaka has once again found herself trending for the wrong reasons after it was revealed that she outsourced a promoter for her new makeup brand – LuvDr but failed to meet her end of the deal.  According to Entertainment blogger Musa Khawula, Dineo Ranaka is also accusing Felicia for stealing her products worth R3000. These allegations came after she demanded her payment, Khawula shared screenshots of conversations.

Abducted Gauteng learner returns home safely.

The Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi is delighted that the Grade 5 11-year-old girl learner from E. P. Baumann Primary School in Mayfair who was kidnapped last year returned safely today on Wednesday, 5 January 2022. According to information at our disposal, the learner’s mother received a call from the police this morning informing her to come fetch her child at the police station.  The 11-year-old girl learner was kidnapped at gunpoint on the morning of 17 November 2021. This happened outside the school gate while she was waiting in line to be sanitized and screened.   “We are delighted to receive this good news of the safe return of this girl learner. We will avail our Psycho-Social Unit to provide additional counselling to her given the trauma she has faced during this unfortunate incident,” Gauteng MEC for Education, Mr Panyaza Lesufi said.  

Nompilo Dlamini doesn't want any medication or injections until God decides whether or not to save her.

Nompilo sent shockwaves across Mzansi, after posting a touching video on her Twitter account. She shared in the video that she's done fighting her long battle with cystic fibrosis. Dlamini says she has endured so much pain and she believes her job of fighting is done now. Nompilo touched the hearts of many South Africans in 2021, when she revealed that she was in need of a new set of lungs. A GoFundMe initiative was started to help her raise a whopping R2million for the transplant. With the assistance of the public and rapper Cassper Nyovest, her dream came true when she flew to India, for her lifechanging transplant in December. National speaker assembly former defence minister Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula believes there's more to the fire than meets the eye. The fire in parliament are no accident she told Vuyo Mvoko. In a heated exchange with a News24 journalist, Mapisa-Nqakula said she had been in office for less than three months and therefore could not be blamed for the disastrous blaze. “I am really sorry if you are trying to align that with the fact that I started a few months ago, which is two or three months ago. I am not responsible for any dropping of the ball in terms of security in parliament," she said. The family members of three miners who remain trapped underground at the Lily Mine at Louisville near Baberton, Mpumalanga are blaming government for it's failure to intervene in retrieving their remains to date. Potential investors had interests in taking over the mine, however, the owners of the mine disagreed on the legal matters as the issue was still in the hands of the High Court.  The families spokesperson Henry Mazibuko says all they want is to retrieve the container.
